Boss Boa, Mark, has had six salons around Cheshire and Greater Manchester in his time, accumulating over 30 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. Mark has worked in various countries in major cities across the world.

I have been in the hairdressing industry for almost 10 years, and a qualified technician for seven. I love creating the perfect Balayage look, along with amazing transformations - it's what makes me love my job. As a technician, I have been involved in colour competitions and I've also been on stage at Salon International in London; where I spoke about scalp analysis and how to maintain healthy hair.

I don't have a reason behind why I love being a barber, I just do! It has always been something I wanted to do, my dream job, seeing people everyday and helping them become the person they want to be - even if it is just appearance. It doesn't ever feel like Groundhog Day because all clients are different; I don't feel like I am at work because I thoroughly enjoy all of it- except when my alarm goes off in the morning.
